Yes, with care. Shingles seal to each other with heat from the sun, so in cold weather they may not seal until a warm day. For that reason, shingle makers’ instructions call for extra hand-sealing with roofing cement along the edges when shingles go on in the cold. Very cold, icy or wet days are not safe for a tear-off.
