What you are looking at
The photos on this page show the kind of roofing we do. Most are asphalt shingle roofs, and most of our shingle roofs use Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration shingles. A few show the job in progress: the tear-off, the new sheathing, the roofers at work. We leave those in, because what happens under the shingles is what decides whether a roof lasts.
Full roof replacements
The finished roofs here sit on two-storey homes, bungalows and brick houses with hips, gables and turrets. This is what a replacement looks like when the crew leaves. On a roof replacement we strip to the deck, replace any soft plywood, lay ice and water barrier and underlayment, then install the shingles, ridge caps and vents as one system. With Owens Corning components throughout, and our Preferred Contractor status, that system can carry the Owens Corning extended warranties.
New construction roofing
Several photos show new builds with house wrap still on the walls and no siding yet. We roof new homes for local builders, and one photo shows the roof framing still open at the centre while the side wings are already shingled. The roof goes on early so the trades inside can stay dry.
The work you cannot see when it is done
The tear-off photo, with tarps over the lawn, and the one with the disposal bin in the driveway, are what a replacement day looks like. Another photo shows the crew shingling over new sheathing. If a deck is rotten we replace it; one Barrie roof in spring 2026 got 54 new sheets of plywood. Read more on our roof decking and plywood replacement page.
Vents, ridges and details
Look at the ridge and hip photos for the roof vents and ridge caps. Good attic ventilation keeps the attic cool in summer and dry in winter, and we check it on every roof we install.
Not pictured yet
We also install standing seam metal roofs with Canadian-made panels, and we do roof repairs from a few lifted shingles to a leaking valley. New photos go up as jobs finish.
